Rahila supervised a foundation year doctor with an interest in ophthalmology and a team of ophthalmology trainees to present their study of Open Globe Injuries in West London. The Western Eye Unit is part of the Major trauma Unit at St Mary’s, and as a result we see a lot of Eye Trauma. The consultants at The Western Eye are therefore experienced in the multidisciplinary care of trauma patients and Rahila is experienced in complex vitreoretinal surgery following eye trauma.
